How To Do The Neck Lateral Flexion Flexibility Exercise


The Neck Lateral Flexion flexibility and stretching exercise will make it easier for you to tilt and turn your head. It will loosen the muscles on the sides of your neck.

Exercise Procedure

  1. Sit up straight.

  2. Tilt your head to the right so that your right earlobe moves toward your right shoulder.
  3. Gently rest your right hand just above your left ear.
  4. Hold this position for 30 to 60 seconds as you continue to breathe.
  5. Return to the starting position.
  6. Repeat this exercise on the left.
  7. You can repeat this exercise 1 to 3 times on each side.
  8. You can perform this exercise once or twice a day.
